What do the androids watch?

What do the androids watch?
What are they staring at?

The end of an old world,
the start of a new one;
the man becoming God,
the droid becoming man;
the fall of the mankind,
the new rule of the Bots.

Or they just watch the sun
rising behind the peaks,
wondering why they are
deprived of the joy
of feeling the sunlight
emerging from the dawn.
